We provide a comprehensive four-phrase training program.



Phase 1: Introduction to Business Model
An orientation session is held to educate new owners and /or employees about Sushi Maru’s business model, operations, strategy, and sushi-making skills and protocols.

Phase 2: Sushi Chef Training
Our Sushi chef training sessions are led by instructors with more than ten years of experience working in the sushi industry. The instructors are passionate professionals and will act as mentors to those participants by offering support in day-to-day operations of the business.

Phase 3: In-Store Experience
This phase is multifaceted to incorporate the daily operations of the store, techniques of making quality sushi, and food handling to ensure the safety of foods from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in the production of sushi. Participants are educated about the HACPP plans, pH level of sushi rice, cleaning and sanitization, and other mandatory regulations.

Phase 4: Review
The final stage involves the review of Phases 1,2, and 3. Additionally, participants are trained with methods and strategies related to customer service, menu development, and product displays.
